"Dr. Heckmann helped me out a year ago when my back had completely given out on me. I thought that was the end of me enjoying the outdoors. Just 2 months later, I was able to resume my outdoor activities . Now a year later with regular appointments I don't ever worry about my back going out again.

Q & A

COMMONLY ASKED QUESTIONS

DO I NEED A DOCTOR’S REFERRAL?

You do not need a doctor's referral to be seen by Dr. Heckmann. However, prior imaging disks or reports are always welcomed and appreciated. Dr. Heckmann will do a complete evaluation of your body systems to determine the best course of action when it comes to your care.

WHAT IS YOUR NEW PATIENT PROCEDURE?

What should you expect during your first appointment with Dr. Heckmann?

The initial visit will take about an hour, where you will fill out some paperwork, discuss any symptoms or problem areas with Dr. Heckmann, and establish an overall goal for treatment. Then Dr. Heckmann will start a physical evaluation to determine if all of your bodily systems are in functioning order. These evaluations include neurological, muscular, and joint testing. Once the testing has been completed, Dr. Heckmann will discuss his findings and move into the physical adjustment, stretching, and muscle work portion of the visit. By the end of your appointment, you should expect to have all of your questions answered,  your body feeling more aligned and hopefully in less discomfort.

WHAT TYPES OF HEALTH INSURANCE DO YOU ACCEPT?

At this time, Heckmann Chiropractic does not accept insurance. However, we expect to start investigating options in the coming months, so please check back.
